Spanish heist crime drama about long-prepared heists led by the Professor, one on the Royal Mint of Spain, and one on the Bank of Spain. This Tv show was refreshing, emotional, fun, and draw me into the story immediately. Nothing always goes as it supposes to, even when you have the perfect plan.
The Handmaid's Tale*****
So, first of all don’t wear your masks like the handmaids in this picture, cover your nose and help stop the spread of coronavirus together.
This dystopian tragedy is strong and deeply disturbing, showing what could happen if we all choose the wrong path for our future. After a civil war the new state Gilead has formed with power-hungry male leaders and a militarised, hierarchical regime of fanaticism and newly created social classes, in which women are brutally subjugated. By law, women in Gilead are forced to work in very limited roles, including some as natal slaves, and they are not allowed to own property, handle money, or read. Life without books and being constantly pregnant is not what any of modern feminists will ever wish upon themselves.
Sinner*****
This Tv show pulled me straight in. The first season was so strong and captivating with amazing acting (I even started to like Jessica Biel after watching it) and the main song still brings me joy and goosebumps. The second season is also very interesting with a dive into life inside of a cult/community. Both seasons started with a compelling scene and finished with an explanation of why everything happened as it happened. The third season was a bit different, confusing. It felt like the whole story started and ended in the first episode and the other episodes just became a sauce around it. So watch it, and enjoy the first and second and try to not be disappointed with the third one, the acting is still pretty good.
Taken*****
A long forgotten show which still has a special place in my heart. From a story by Steven Spielberg which talks about multiple generations of three families connected to alien abductions. This is the first Tv show I ever saw Dakota Fanning in and even though she is all grown up now, I still see her as the small girl, Allie Keys, with her supernatural connections. This illustration is from a love story between a human woman and an alien. Nobody can resist a handsome alien!
Tin Star*****
Oh how excited I become from watching this Tv show. A Dark story highlighted by an amazing Tim Roth, who is a terrible human being but at the same time the badass chief of police of Little Big Bear, a small town at the edge of the Canadian Rockies, where his family of four has moved to escape his violent past. The tragic death of his son brings him back to his violent alcoholic alter-ego Jack Devlin and he is not there to play. So good!

I Am Not Okay With This*****
This TV show feels like the wildest ride of 2020, it has everything, suspense, love, outsiders, amazing retro camera and visuals, great soundtrack and also SUPERPOWERS. (#geekwholeweek) Some of the visuals remind me of Stephen's King Carrie but in a bigger brutal way with some dark humour behind them. I fully recommend watching Syd on her path to understanding herself as a teenager, a woman and a possible superhero or even a supervillain? Who knows where she will end up after finding herself. Maybe we will find out next season.
Dispatches from Elsewhere
I am watching this TV show and the whole time I was thinking about just one thing: 'Am I tripping or are the people who made this constantly on drugs?' It's like if Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy crossed paths with Man seeking woman and all the crazy aspects of Legion and crashed very hard into a crazy mixture of beautiful visuals, weird storytelling, great actors playing emotionless people getting excited about something(?!), and a change that interrupts their lives. What is really happening? I am totally lost. I love the visuals, but the story is a bit too much to focus on.
"Are you a crazy person? They say crazy people don't always know they are crazy, but in my experience, it's not always the case."
Am I crazy watching this? Probably. We will see how much of this I can take in… Not much, I gave it two episodes and that must be enough.
You're the Worst
A Non-traditional love story full of rises and falls, looks from the start a bad idea, when you see how self-destructive both main characters are, Jimmy and Gretchen. Somehow they still find their way together and maybe even end up happy ever after. After a lot of fights, sunday fundays, trying to cope with clinical depression, they are surrounded with their closest friends: veteran Edgar dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder and Lindsey trapped in a boring marriage with plain Paul, which are probably as cuckoo as all the characters in this dramatic slide into a modern love portrait. Anyway it has its ups and downs but I still kind of liked it as a show, because it was something completely different from the shows I watched before.

"Have you ever had a day that starts with one bad decision? And then... it's just a cascade of bad decisions, until you're like, "Well, might as well burn down the whole town tonight?"
Riverdale
Tv show based on Archie Comics full of very attractive and talented (plenty of singing and dancing) high school students based in Riverdale, grouped together to solve a lot of killer mysteries and unconventional deaths. My favourite character is Jughead (portrayed on the picture with his cool crown hat) who is the writer, narrator and investigator of all the murder cases. Sometimes the stories seem to be a little bit too much and exaggerated like when a 17 years old daughter of a crime boss is owning a speakeasy under the dinner where she works as a waitress? Or a cult of people brainwashing students and adults, or crazy nun groups, death brother taxidermy or the whole Gargoyle King mystery. Not sure why I am still watching it but maybe the story will get better soon and I will enjoy the beautiful camera more.

The End of the F***ing World
An unconventional story of two seventeen-year-old outsiders going for a crazy road trip. James who sees himself as a psychopath with a desire to kill somebody and Alyssa speaks like a butcher trapped in an innocent girl's body. Both from weird family backgrounds and they make an instant connection together. He wants to kill her and she wants to be loved by him. Beautiful camera shots of not only the English countryside, amazing houses in the middle of nowhere (picture) and an awesome soundtrack pushed me to fall in love with these two characters and their weirdness. Nothing good can come from this relationship or maybe everything will change when this adventure will come to the end? Will love conquer killer desires?

James: Why is no one stopping?
Alyssa: Probably because you have your tits out! Nobody stops for weirdos, except for other weirdos...
EVERYTHING'S GONNA BE OKAY
After the sudden death of a father, the oldest of three children, neurotic Nicholas, has to take responsibility over his teenage step-sisters: outsider Genevieve and ‘knowitall’ Matilda. He has to relocate into the USA from Australia to start a new life full of everyday problems, like exploring sexuality when you are a autistic girl, finding a perfect boyfriend for Nicholas or dealing with a first menstruation. Stories are tragicomic, full of life and laughter and unusual experiences, interlaced with beautiful visuals of moths, bugs, spiders and other interesting insects Nicholas owns. This Tv show has a similar feeling as the first show made by Josh Thomas (Nicholas): Please like me, although it feels more mature, showing a lot of strong episodes full of masterful writing and cool motivational quotes to remember.

‘I am family, you can treat me like trash and I am gonna turn up, but you're gonna want other people to turn up, right? What I am worried about is what you are offering to the rest of the World. The world isn't listening, the Universe doesn't care about your problems. All people are interested in, is what you are offering them. People will tell you to follow your bliss, it's not true, you need to follow their bliss. You need to turn up to the party, you need to bring wine, or a mixed drink, or if you are a child, which you are, you can bring a book or a tamagotchi, bring an anecdote, be interesting. Other People, they are not gonna give you report cards. They are not gonna suppress you to a hike like this and give you feedback. They're just gonna ghost you. If you will not figure out what you are gonna to offer to the World and then offer it, you are gonna be poor, you are gonna be alone and you are gonna be sexually frustrated.’
‘Crushes are over, ladies, okay? And sex is coming, and I am gonna do it with a bad guy with a good face, because I am highly visual person. I want to look back on my high school years and be so proud that I did it with all the hottest guys in school. You know why? We have the rest of our lives to settle with someone chubby with a nice job, who respects us. I am not prepared to compromise on hotness right now!’
